Who would think God would gig with Gufu? How could I ever be used in the Kingdom and accepted by diverse audience(s) causing them to burst at the seams through joy and laughter.
I was born Willette Houston and evolved into Willette “Gufu” Johnson. The Fire of His Flames (shut up in my bones); flicker bright with His joy and laughter.
The essence of “Gufu” is birthed through the ashes of life. What otherwise should have consumed me is the foundation of Joy on which I stand. The comedic word was conceived within me before I was in my mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1 :5). “Gufu”, was recognized by others; the flames were ignited. “Humor when led by God; is Good for All emotions”.
Others saw God gigging with Gufu before I knew God was gigging within me. Before the initial sparks, my shyness wished I could be a Gospel comedian in another life. The “new” life came sooner than expected.
